For Him

Need a card for dad?

When you’re picking a card for your mom or sister, it’s always easy seeing as you can choose  from so many designs including those with flowers, beads, colorful images, sparkly embellishments and other things.
Getting a card for your dad or any other male relative or friend on the other hand can be tricky and sometimes, it may be hard to find a good one from the shops.

If you need a card for your father,or brother therefore,you can go around this by getting a personalized one.A good idea is to find a photo of you and the person from an album, facebook, or any other source, and then have it printed on a card. The photo can be one that brings back some good old memories, or one in which you made funny poses –cards with funny images or messages are always great.

Optionally, you can go for an African design card such as this one here;

The one below can also make a great choice.

It's simple, yet sophisticated at the same time.This particular piece happens to be one of my favorites; I gave it to my brother during his birthday last year. It’s also among the very first designs I came up with when I started card making.

Here are some other great designs you can choose from.

In making this card, I used shells and layered three different papers. I love the fact that its colorful, yet has a laid back feel.

I like to call this card the stick and shell card as I made it using some shells, and sticks painted in gold.It's simplicity make's it great for a dad, a grandfather, a brother,or even a friend. Just let us help you add your own words on the card, and you are good to go!

There's something about red that makes it right not just when worn, but even when used on  a card like this.Maybe it's its timelessness...or maybe its just its striking appearance- it's not exactly easy to point out.One thing I'm sure about though is that you can never go wrong with red even when it comes to something like this.

Other cards in colors I love: black and orange.The smaller sizes make the centerpieces stand out better.

And here are more cards for your father, brother, or boyfriend;I love the fact that they have some bright colours incorporated. It doesn't always have to be white :).
